ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said that it would hear a reference on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s disqualification on the same date as PTI’s protest on November 2.
ECP already served Khan a notice to appear before the commission in person or through his counsel on November 2 at 10 am at its secretariat in Islamabad for the reference filed by Talal Chaudhry of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and six other members of the National Assembly
Imran announced to protest against Nawaz Sharif, demanding the premier to step down. The PTI Chairman is due to lead a mass protest in Islamabad on November 2 over Panama Leaks scandal.
