Karachi: The Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) is planning to stage a protest today outside K-electric’s office against the continuous load-shedding plaguing Pakistan’s largest city.
PSP leader Anees Qaimkhani, in a press conference, also invited Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh Murad Ali Shah to join the protest.
The CM had earlier spoken in favour of holding a sit-in outside the Prime Minister’s (PM) house in Islamabad, and dubbed the load-shedding in Karachi as a political move to weaken provincial autonomy.
Karachi is currently in the throes of electricity blackouts lasting for as long as 12 hours.
